Lab Club of Scotland Champ Show 04/04/2009

Niamh was entered in a couple of classes at the show. We were in Yearling and Graduate. The yearling class had an entry of 17 with 5 absent. The judge shortlisted the class which included Niamh. She then placed the class with Niamh in 1st place!! Couldn't believe it, Niamh had won and also qualified for Crufts 2010!! Brilliant day!!

Tay Valley Gundog 07/02/09

We headed up to Carnoustie for Tay Valley. The judge for Labradors was Prof. Colin Harrison (Stebel). He had 5 lab classes. Niamh was in the Yearling class. She then challenged for BOB. She managed to show her wee socks off at just the right time and the judge had no hesitation in giving it to her. She was then in for BIS. There were around 22 other gundogs in the ring. The judge, shortlisted the dogs to 6 which included Niamh! He then made his selection. BIS was an Irish Setter, RBIS a Goldie, Group 3 was a Cocker and Group 4 was a labrador-Niamh!!! She was also awarded Best Opposite Sex as the rest of the group placing were all male. So Niamh was the best bitch in show!!!

Here is a photo of her with her new set of rosettes.

She also has on a medallion which was a pressie from her Auntie Mhairi. I am on a complete high from yesterday but Niamh is lying down eating a biscuit without a care in the world. Typical!

                      Darlington Champ Show 14/08/08

We headed down to Darlington on Sunday. Niamh was entered in 2 classes , Junior Bitch and Novice Bitch which we both big classes. Frank took her in and although she didn't get placed she did very well.

Niamh then went and took part in the Kennel Club Good Citizen Bronze Award. There were a lot of distractions as we were next to the show rings and there were lots of dogs and people walking by. But she performed brilliantly and passed. She has a lovely certificate and rosette to add to her collection. I am so proud of my choccie girl.
